When: Saturday, June19th – 8 AM T-shirt pickup/number registration
9 AM Track Meet starts
Where: Orrville High School Track
Cost: $15 (includes shirt)
*Admission $3 for adult/$1 Kids (not participating)
Events: 100 (all ages), 400 (all ages), 800 (9 & up), 1600 (11 & up), softball toss (7 & 8 only), shot put (6lb.) (9 & up), turbo javelin throw (9 & up)*, standing long jump (all ages), high jump (scissor kick)**(11 & up), 4×100 relay (all ages)***
* The turbo javelin is a plastic/rubber practice javelin about 2 feet long with a blunt rubber tip.
** High jump will be done sideways, one leg at a time, over a low bar onto turf. Participants MUST land on both feet for jump to count.
*** Four people from your age group compete as a team. Age groups will be combined for relays (7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 &12). You can either get your own team, or we will form teams on the field at the meet. All team members must be from the same combined age groups and same gender.
Optional practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10 AM at the Orrville High School Track starting June 1st (June 15th & 17th we will be practicing outside of the track)
Ribbons will be awarded to the top 10 in each event.
