It was a great Fall season for our all of our OABGC Leagues.  We had a great turnout this year and it was great to see all of the teams have fun and compete.  Thank you to all of our coaches who put in the time to coach our young athletes and make it an experience in which they want to come back and play again.  Also a big thank you to all of our volunteers who put in time to help ref our games.  Last week our Flag Football League finished up and it was the team from the Boys and Girls Club of Massillon who defeated Smithville in the championship game in the 5th & 6th grade flag football league.  In the 3rd & 4th grade Gold Division championship game Smithville defeated North Carolina (Orrville) and in the Silver Division game BGCM (Massillon) defeated Texas Tech (Orrville).  In our flag league we had teams from Smithville, Massillon (BGCM), Waynedale, Rittman and our Orrville teams.  Thank you to all of the parents and High School Football Players for coaching our flag football players.  The OABGC Volleyball league finished up their season on Saturday in a one day single elimination tournament.  Congrats to Orrville Black who defeated the Orrville Red team in the 5th & 6th grade Gold Division championship game and to Orrville Lt Grey who defeated Orrville Grey in the Silver Division championship game.  In the 3rd & 4th grade division the Orrville Black team defeated Orrville Grey in a great championship match.  Congrats to all of the teams as they continued to develop and improve throughout the season.  We had teams from Wooster, Smithville, Dalton/Waynedale, and Orrville in our Volleyball league this year.  Thanks to Coach Plybon and her staff for helping to referee and run our tournament!  Saturday we also finished our Tackle Football season.  Congratulations to our Orrville Lower team for winning the WCYIFL championship defeating Hillsdale 33-20.  Our two Upper division Orrville teams played each other to finish out the season with Orrville Red defeating Orrville Black.  Thanks for Coach Zuercher and his staff for volunteering their time and refereeing the final games at the stadium.  The tackle football teams competed in the Wayne County Youth Instructional Football league which was comprised of 28 total team across both Upper and Lower divisions.
